Information portal

We created an information portal for the Biodiversity Information System (or SIB for its Spanish acronym) that acts as a comprehensive and detailed database on national protected areas and nature reserves. This website provides comprehensive information on each protected area, including species cited, sightings by time of year, scientific research conducted, and cultural heritages present.

The website is designed to be a valuable tool for researchers, conservationists and the general public, providing access to accurate and up-to-date data on biodiversity and conservation efforts in Argentina. In addition to serving as an educational and research resource, the website also promotes awareness and appreciation for the country’s natural and cultural richness, thus supporting the conservation of its biodiversity.
